Camarines Norte State College held its “La Familia” Team Building Activity with the theme “Creating Ripples of Excellence” on May 10, 2019 at Villa Asuncion Green Farm Resort, Labo, Camarines Norte.
CNSC administration, teaching and non-teaching employees gathered as La Familia – as ONE family. Northlink Event and Travel Services in partnership with the Disaster Risk Education Advocacy and Management (DREAM) team facilitated the event. Alvin Magana hosted the event.
College President Dr. Rusty G. Abanto expressed delight to see the entire community in different light. 10 groups are formed composed of red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, black, white and brown. They hurdle 10 stations where they need to accomplish a specific task under the supervision of a facilitator. Tasks are varied where they need to show different qualities of leadership, cooperation, initiative, resourcefulness, endurance, perseverance, power, patience and other individual and group attributes that arise during the actual conduct of the games. A synthesis of all the activities was delivered at the end of the competition.
A boodle dinner was served to further establish oneness and equality among CNSC employees. Raffle draw with corresponding prizes was conducted and gifts are given away to some who were given special awards such as Mr. Sunshine – Rodel Elizes, Ms. Sunshine – Ms. Stephanie Grace Lanuza, Energizer Bunny Award – Pres. Rusty Abanto, Elmer’s Glue Award- Rayvimart Mancenido, Most Playful Team – Brown Team, Most Resilient Team – White Team, Most Discipline – Purple Team, Most Competitive Team – Black Team, Best in Teamwork – Black Team.
The Awardees: Purple Team – 4th Place, Green Team – 3rd Place, White Team – 2nd Place, Brown Team – 1st Place. Black Team emerged as the CHAMPION for 2019 La Familia Team Building activity.
