An exit conference held on September 20, 2017 at the CNSC Social hall completed the three-day AACCUP accreditation survey visit was participated by the administrative officials, faculty, non-teaching staff, students and the colleges under accreditation- College of Business and Public Administration-Daet Campus, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources-Labo Campus and College of Trades and Technology-Jose Panganiban Campus.
Dr. Leoncio M. Matibag, AACCUP Team Overall Coordinator presented the team’s overall impression of the accreditation process and started by congratulating those who exerted effort in the success of the 2nd survey visit. He emphasized AACCUP vision in “Building a Culture of Quality” which was manifested in the programs they evaluated. Voluntary submitting curricular programs for accreditation is considered an effort to sustain hallmark of quality and excellence in education. He expressed optimism that sooner CNSC will soar higher as evident of its many developments such as the construction of new buildings, procurement of state of the art facilities, provision of human and material resources, existence of relevant programs and projects to improve delivery of services, involvement of the community and establishing strong linkages are positive results of evaluation and indicators that the vision of becoming premier higher education in the region will be realized. Dr. Matibag ended his talk by acknowledging the administration for their support to accreditation, he reiterated gratefulness for letting them feel at home away from home, and he appreciated everyone’s culture of courtesy. He posed a challenge that three years from now, the team will not be surprised to know that CNSC is the university of choice in the Bicol region.
VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Erlinda J. Porcincula expressed positivity of the impressions given by the AACCUP Team Overall Coordinator and she conveyed commitment to sustain whatever the institution has started, develop more its strengths, turn its weaknesses into positive, learn from mistakes and never stop learning and improving.
