She is an Assistant Professor IV and the Chairperson of the BS in Accountancy Program. She is a Certified Public Accountant and PRC accredited accounting teacher.

She started her career as audit staff and rose to Associate Director in SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co, Makati City. With her experience in assurance services of manufacturing, power generation, pharmaceutical, insurance, and advertising industries, she was seconded for two years in Arthur Andersen, LLP., New York, USA. Eventually, she worked as Audit Manager, handling the audit of hedge funds, mutual funds, and insurance companies, in Ernst & Young, New York, USA. After 12 years in the corporate world, she decided to settle in her home province and changed her profession to academe. Currently, aside from full-time teaching, she is an active member of several religious organizations and ministries in the Diocese of Daet.
