CNSC Faculty Members Attend Mentoring Program at CBSUA

Seven faculty members participated in the Mentoring Program on Policy Analysis and Research Proposal Development held from January 13 to 17, 2025 at the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA). The group comprised four faculty members from the Mercedes Campus, two from Labo Campus, and one from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).

This activity was organized by the Development Innovations and Policy Laboratory (DIP Lab) of the College of Public Affairs and Development (CPAf) at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), in collaboration with Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) and the Bicol Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (BCAARRD).

Meanwhile, Dr. Arlene C. Alegre received the University Achievement Award for a collaborated project with other researchers from other SUCs titled “Enhancing Pili Nut (Canarium Ovatum Engl.) Propagation and Distribution”.

The seven participating faculty members alongside Dr. Alegre from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) included Noel C. Alegre (CAS), Mary Jane Ferrer (CANR), Darwin Biag (Mercedes Campus), Sheena Furio (Mercedes Campus), Monicalyn Borlagdan (Mercedes Campus), and Shena Mae Opeda (Mercedes Campus).
