Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) officially launched its Technology Demonstration Facility, University Market Hub, and institutional Coffee Table Book in a two-part ceremonial event yesterday, July 22, 2025 held in CANR Campus B in Labo and in CNSC Main Campus Daet, Camarines Norte

In the morning, key officials led the ribbon cutting and inaugural blessing of the Techno-Demo Facility for Queen Pineapple (QP) Powder Juice and Marinade at the CNSC Sierra Bros Site in Brgy. Talobatib, Labo. The facility houses advanced food processing equipment, including an Automatic Vacuum Fryer, Automatic Spray Dryer, and Panel Packing Machine—aimed at enhancing research-based production and commercialization of QP products.

Approved in 2022 and funded under the 2023 budget with Php 4.2 million, the project supports the rollout of CNSC’s matured R&D technologies to partner people’s organizations, LGUs, and development agencies.

After the ceremonial launch, guests joined a guided walkthrough of the facility, a short presentation, and a site visit to the Extension Services Training Center before proceeding to the CNSC Main Campus.

In the afternoon, CNSC unveiled its University Market Hub and officially launched the Coffee Table Book in a ceremony held at the main campus in Daet. The Market Hub will serve as a platform for local product promotion, incubation of community-based enterprises, and institutional income generation.

The Coffee Table Book documents the college’s history, achievements, and institutional milestones. The program featured messages from Dr. Girly H. Naval, Dr. Marlo M. Dela Cruz, and Dr. Rosalie A. Almadrones, along with a statement of appreciation by Ms. Irene A. Elechicon, Chairperson of Pangpang Farmers Agriculture Cooperative.

A trade fair showcasing CNSC-developed products and local vendors followed the ribbon cutting of the Market Hub.
