Valenzuela for the grant awarded to the project titled “𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗗𝗖) 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲”, amounting to ₱𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎.𝟎𝟎. This grant is provided under the Office of Planning, Research, and Knowledge Management (OPRKM) – Institutional Development and Innovation Grants (IDIG), funded by the Higher Education Development Fund (HEDF). This project was initiated and conceptualized by the Office of the President, led by College President Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz with Executive Assistant Nicole Anne G. Panotes. It was developed in collaboration with Vice President for Research and Extension Dr. Rosalie A. Almadrones, who was then the Program Chairperson of the Development Communication (DevCom) program and is now the project leader. The team also includes Dr. Melanie Bacuno, a senior faculty member of DevCom. The establishment of the ETIDC aims to:1. Create, develop, integrate and utilize effective tools, appropriate technologies, new techniques, online curriculum and innovative instructional design processes, and procedures using the broadcast, digital and ICT-based technologies that identify and integrates emerging technologies in the teaching and learning environment;2. Conduct teacher development and training; and3. Provide professional consultancy and technical support services on project management and project utilization and implementation related to the services of the center.4. Serve as an extension service through the airing of Project T.E.L.L. This grant is a significant boost to the College’s efforts to upgrade the teaching-learning environment, enhance faculty development, and ultimately improve the quality of education provided to students.

De La Cruz, representing the College receives the “Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Awards” at the Manila Hotel, 1 Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila. The College President is attending together with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dolores C. Volante and College of Education Dean, Dr. Edgar P. Aban. The award is CHED’s recognition of CNSC’s consistent upholding of the highest standard in ensuring the quality of pre-service teacher education programs, following its minimum standards, program accreditation, and excellent performance in the Board of Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).

The two-part celebration, held at CNSC grounds, gathered administrative officials, faculty, staff, and students for a day of reflection and camaraderie. The event commenced with an opening program led by Faculty Trustee Rene N. Abrera, followed by a message from Dr. Maria Cristina C. Azuelo, Vice President for Administration and Finance, representing CNSC President Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz. A wreath-laying ceremony was conducted by CNSC administrative officials to honor the former Congressman Renato M. Unico, Sr., while a video presentation by the Public Information and Community Relations Office (PICRO) showcased CNSC’s journey over the years. The program concluded with closing remarks from CPAU Head Sigfred V. Aler, representing Rhodaviv V. Avila, OSSD Director. The celebration continued with a community dance organized by PATHFIT instructors, energizing participants before the Laro ng Lahi—a series of traditional Filipino games including Arina Relay, Jack N’ Poy, Tug of War, Catch the Egg, Sack Race, Pinoy Henyo, and Eh Ikaw? Volleyball. A boodle fight fostered a spirit of unity before the games resumed. The event culminated in an awarding ceremony, recognizing outstanding participants and winners. Spearheaded by the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 in collaboration with the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 and 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, this initiative aims to prevent the spread of rabies and other zoonotic diseases. ONG” CAMPUS, SAN VICENTE set in FIVE YEARS By: CNSC PICRO, 2025 History unfolded last Friday, March 21, 2025, when Ms. Vilma G. Ong of the municipality of San Vicente donated a two-hectare parcel of land (20,000 square meters) to the Camarines Norte State College headed by Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, (SUC President III) for use solely as a School Engineering Campus Excerpt from the Deed states: That, FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the trust, and highest interest and commitment in education by the DONEE, and as an act of liberality on the part of the DONOR, the DONOR hereby voluntarily GIVE, TRANSFER and CONVEY by way of donation the above-described property and all the rights pertaining thereto, unto the DONEE and/or successor-in-interest, the above described property free from all liens and encumbrances and charges of whatever kind subject with the following conditions: That the property donated shall be used as solely as a School Engineering Campus of the DONEE; The DONEE shall undertake to give preference in the acceptance of students who are bona fide residents of the Municipality of San Vicente, provided that said students meet all the requisite qualifications, including examinations and interviews, required for the program; That the DONEE, in coordination with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and/or any government agencies, shall initiate, prioritize, and work out for the construction of school buildings and other improvements on the said donated parcel of land; That the DONEE shall perpetually name the campus as CAMARINES NORTE STATE COLLEGE (OR UNIVERSITY OF CAMARINES NORTE) “ENGR. ERNESTO T. ONG” CAMPUS; That within FIVE (5) YEARS from the execution of this instrument, the DONEE shall initiate the construction of the necessary buildings and other improvements for the operation of the Campus and take steps to secure the corresponding certificate of title under its name; That failure of the DONEE to comply with any of the aforesaid conditions, the ownership over the said real properties, together with any improvements existing thereon at the time of revocation, shall revert to the DONOR as if this donation has not been executed. Unlocking Bright Futures View the Latest News and Updates of CNSC BA Sociology Students Named Finalists in International Creative Campaign Competition By: CNSC PICRO, 2025 BA Sociology students from the College of Arts and Sciences have achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a finalist spot in the “Unlock Your Creativity with Ogilvy: Coca-Cola x Music – Internship Opportunities” creative campaign competition, organized by the SCE Virtual Exchange Centre (VEC). CNSC’s entry, featuring the creative briefs “Coke Songbook” and “Most Wanted,” stood out among numerous submissions worldwide. The team behind this campaign includes: Eunice Angela D. Ang (2nd Year) – Leader/Director/Writer Mark Russel G. Obal (2nd Year) – Assistant Director/Writer Roan Mea R. Payapag (2nd Year) – Technical Director/Writer Diana Cadaviz (1st Year) – Production Manager/Writer John Karl Will O. Jazmin (2nd Year) – Assistant Production Manager/Writer The competition is organized by the School of Continuing Education Hong Kong Baptist University in collaboration with Ogilvy. The final pitching of the team’s creative brief is scheduled on April 1, 2025 (Tuesday), via Zoom, where they will present their campaign in a 20-minute pitch session.

Unlocking Bright Futures View the Latest News and Updates of CNSC Pagsasanay sa Masinop na Pagsulat at Pagsasaling-Wika, Isinasagawa sa CNSC By: CNSC PICRO, 2025 Isinasagawa ngayon sa Camarines Norte State College ang dalawang araw na pagsasanay na pinamagatang Luntian: Pagsasanay sa Masinop na Pagsulat, Korespondensyang Opisyal, at Pagsasaling-Wika ngayong Marso 24-25, 2025. Ang programa ay inorganisa ng CNSC-Sentro ng Wika at Kultura (SWK), katuwang ang Kagawaran ng Interyor at Pamahalaang Lokal (DILG), at ginaganap sa CAS Development Communication Laboratory ng CNSC. Ang pagsasanay na ito ay nilalahukan ng mga kawani mula sa iba’t ibang bayan ng Camarines Norte upang mapalakas ang kanilang kasanayan pagsulat, paggawa ng opisyal na korespondensya, at pagsasaling-wika mula Ingles patungong Filipino at vice versa.
