CNSC, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), and Manide/Kabihug Community Forge Partnership By: CNSC ESD, 2022 On November 24, 2022, Camarines Norte State College (CNSC), the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), and the Manide/Kabihug community formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement in a ceremonial event. This significant moment was one of the highlights of KADUEN 2022: Training on Awareness and Appreciation on Gender Diversity among the Manide Tribe, a two-day training held in support of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) 2022. Organized by the CNSC Office of the President – Center for Equity, Inclusivity, and Diversity (CEID), led by Dr. Delma Jean Abad, the event emphasized collaboration for equity and cultural inclusion. NCIP Region V Regional Director Mr. Agosto B. Maglunsod graced the ceremony and affirmed his strong commitment to the partnership.

National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Region V seals partnership with CNSC By: CNSC ESD, 2021 The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Region V officially partnered with Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) through a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) signing held on April 14, 2021, at the CNSC Pavilion, Main Campus, Daet, Camarines Norte. The event began with an Audio-Video Presentation of Project EPANAW – a national initiative that highlights the rich culture, traditions, and ancestral domains of Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICC/IPs). The ceremony gathered representatives from NCIP, CNSC, local government units, and members of the Manide tribe of Jose Panganiban. The program featured messages of support from CNSC OIC President/CHED RD Dr. Freddie T. Bernal and NCIP Regional Director Lee T. Arroyo, emphasizing commitment to the development and inclusion of Indigenous Peoples through education, research, and cultural preservation. A ceremonial signing followed, with representatives from both institutions and local government officials serving as witnesses. The highlight of the event was the vibrant cultural presentation by the Manide tribe, showcasing their music, dance, and crafts. This partnership marks a meaningful step towards advocating for the rights, recognition, and empowerment of indigenous communities in the region.

Sealing a Sustainable Future: IEG MOU and Marker Launch By: CNSC ESD, 2024 CNSC and Tanggol Kalikasan Inc. officially sealed their partnership through the MOU signing on the Institutionalization of Environmental Governance (IEG), witnessed by the DILG Provincial Director. The occasion also celebrated the unveiling of the IEG marker as a symbol of shared commitment to environmental stewardship.
