CNSC Reaches Global Heights with Virtual MOU Signing Ceremony with Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo, Indonesia By: CRISANTO S. RAMIREZ, MBA Head, Alumni Affairs Office, 2025 On February 3, 2025, Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) achieved a significant milestone in its internationalization journey through a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMP), Indonesia. Held via Zoom, this landmark event underscores CNSC’s dedication to fostering international partnerships that broaden global learning opportunities and elevate academic standards. This collaboration, spearheaded by CNSC’s Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) program under the College of Business and Public Administration, represents a pivotal step toward equipping students, faculty, and alumni with globally competitive competencies in an interconnected world.The online ceremony gathered distinguished leaders from both institutions. Representing UMP were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teguh Wibowo, Rector of UMP; Dr. Jeki Mediantari W. Wibawanti, Director for Cooperation and International Affairs; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tusino, Vice President of UMP. From CNSC, the delegation was led by Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, PECE, CNSC President, alongside Ms. Nicole Anne G. Panotes, his Executive Assistant; Dr. Dolores Volante, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mr. Crisanto S. Ramirez, MBA, Head of the Alumni Affairs Office and BSOA Program Chairperson; Dr. Gehana D. Lamug, Dean of the College of Business and Public Administration; and BSOA faculty members Ms. Frances Noegeline P. Manila, MBA, and Ms. Joanne M. Orendain, MBM. During the event, De La Cruz emphasized the significance of this partnership, highlighting its potential to provide students and faculty with opportunities to excel on a global stage. He noted that the collaboration is not just a formal agreement but a shared commitment to fostering academic excellence and innovation through international engagement. Through this MOU, CNSC aims to enhance academic exchanges, faculty development, and collaborative research initiatives, positioning the BSOA program as a leader in Office Administration education. This strategic partnership aligns with CNSC’s vision to achieve Level IV accreditation—the highest distinction in academic program evaluation—and further solidify its standing as a premier institution of higher learning. UMP Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teguh Wibowo expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, commending CNSC’s proactive efforts to establish meaningful international collaborations. Camarines Norte State College Produces 41 New Civil Engineers

Camarines Norte State College Produces 41 New Civil Engineers By: CNSC PICRO, 2025 On November 2024 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination, 41 graduates from the civil engineering program passed the examination. 60.34% passing rate for first takers and 23.81% for repeaters. The institutional passing rate is 50.63% and 37.07% for the national passing rate. At the Testimonial Ceremony held in January 20, 2025 with the theme “Transforming dreams into skylines: Celebrating the triumphs and legacies of civil engineering”, the community celebrated the wonderful achievements of the Civil Engineering program. Engr. Maria Senen D. Bongulto MSE, Civil Engineering Department Head opened the program by welcoming the newly passed civil engineers, followed by a message from the Dean of the College of Engineering, Engr. Aireen M. Babagay RME. SUC President III Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, PECE also gave an insightful message for the Civil Engineers. Also, an inspirational message was given by Engr. Ramon A. Orbita, Assistant Professor IV. The event highlighted the perseverance and dedication required for such career and it also gave importance for the effort that the newly passed engineers gave to achieve such milestones. Finally, the Testimonial Ceremony was formally closed by Engr. Richelle C. Vedad. MET, adviser of PICE – CNSC Chapter.

Aireen M. Babagay, along with the Mechanical Engineering students at the College of Engineering Audio Visual Room.Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, PECE, College President, graced the testimonial and delivered a congratulatory message to the passers.

Aban, and opening messages from Dr. Dolores C. Volante, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), and Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, SUC President III.A key highlight of the Testimonial Banquet was the gripping testimonies shared by the LET passers from each program, offering insights into their journey to success. The event also featured the inspiring stories of the topnotchers, including Mylene E. Bontille, Ciara B. Jalimao, and Ruffa Mae M. Imperial.Topnotcher Pamela May S. Orolfe delivered a motivating challenge to the 2024 graduating class, represented by Ms. Mary Lovely Ann G. Bulao, encouraging them to pursue excellence in their future endeavors.The evening concluded with a closing remarks from Guidance Counselor III, Ms. Frances Angela D. Cabanilla-Melgar, who congratulated the LET passers on their remarkable achievements, leaving everyone inspired and uplifted as the event drew to a close
