BALINDAN, CPA, MBA Instructor II / Sports and Development In-Charge / BSA Department About Just wanted to give you a quick snapshot of my journey so far! I’ve been a Certified Public Accountant since May 2016, and I’ve added a few more strings to my professional bow: Accredited Accounting Teacher, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, UK Certified Bookkeeper, and TESDA NC III in Bookkeeping passer. Currently, I’m on the faculty at Camarines Norte State College, rocking the role of College Instructor in BS in Accountancy since August 2019. My gig involves diving deep into subjects basic accounting, advanced accounting, accountancy research and more, helping students navigate the twists and turns of the accountancy world. Beyond the classroom, I wear different hats – extensionist, researcher, and the brains behind “Livelihood Opportunities for Vulnerable Entities (LOVE): Tinapay ni Juan Bakery” since 2022. Exciting stuff, right? Looking forward to more adventures in numbers, research and community projects! Together, let us make a difference!

RONNIE E. ASIS, M. Econ

Econ Associate Professor I / Auxiliary Services Director / IGP Coordinator / BS Entrep Department About He is an Associate Professor I, the Director for Auxiliary Services, and the concurrent Director for Business Affairs Division.  After completing AB Economics and Master in Economics from Bicol University, he did a short stint as researcher in the National Statistics Office. In 2003, he was hired as permanent instructor in the College of Business and Public Administration.  As business enthusiast, he is currently handling the business implementation course of the BS Entrepreneurship Program. He is also teaching business subjects in the Holy Trinity College Seminary as part of extension services. Likewise, through his efforts as head of the Business Affairs Division, the income generated by the various projects in CNSC significantly increased for the past few years. Further, he is an active member of several religious organizations and ministries in the Diocese of Daet.

LUVY S. ASIS, CPA, MBA

ASIS, CPA, MBA Assistant Professor IV / BSA Program Chairperson About She is an Assistant Professor IV and the Chairperson of the BS in Accountancy Program. She is a Certified Public Accountant and PRC accredited accounting teacher. She started her career as audit staff and rose to Associate Director in SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co, Makati City. With her experience in assurance services of manufacturing, power generation, pharmaceutical, insurance, and advertising industries, she was seconded for two years in Arthur Andersen, LLP., New York, USA. Eventually, she worked as Audit Manager, handling the audit of hedge funds, mutual funds, and insurance companies, in Ernst & Young, New York, USA. After 12 years in the corporate world, she decided to settle in her home province and changed her profession to academe. Currently, aside from full-time teaching, she is an active member of several religious organizations and ministries in the Diocese of Daet.

JEMMALYN G. ALOC CPA, MBA

ALOC, CPA, MBA Instructor I / Planning Unit Officer / BSA Department About She holds an instructor 1 position under Accountancy Program. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Master in Business Administration. She is the current Planning Unit Officer of the College of Business and Public Administration.  Her profession as CPA, makes her productive in crafting the projects, plans and activities aligned with the budget allocation of the college. Before entering the academe, she worked as accountant of private companies in which she experienced the complex world of accounting. She is steadfast in teaching accountancy courses to all aspirant CPAs. She thrives to balance her professional life with her family duties, as wife and a mother of two.  She inspires people around her by pushing them to move forward with faith in whatever circumstances.

MAILYN Q. ALARCON, MSHRM

ALARCON, MSHRM Instructor I / Disability Inclusion and Indigenous People Officer (DIIPO) / BSHM Department About This versatile woman loves to mingle with different walks of life. Her purpose in life is to be an educator, wife and mother of her children. She is a degree holder of Bachelor in Food Service Management and Master of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management earned at Philippine Women’s University – Manila. Currently, an Instructor I of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management under the College of Business and Public Administration department. With regards to her industry experience, she was a former Human Resource Officer in a well-known restaurant in Bicol. From recruiting, hiring, training, retaining and motivating of employees; these gained experiences were all impart to her students. Just like the meaning of hospitality, she possesses an attitude of heart. Living in a hospitable life finds joy and interconnectedness. A way of life that transcends boundaries, cultivating compassion, trust and community.
