Paraiso, visited UP Diliman, Cavite State University, and Batangas State University last July 23-26, 2024.The group included Jeanette C. Daniel, College Secretary; Aldrin Jake C. Asis, MAEd, OSSD Coordinator; Frances Angela Cabanilla-Melgar, RGC, Guidance Counsellor III; Roque M. Carillo, MMath, Assistant Guidance Personnel; Adonis L. Salen II, USSG Chairperson; Christian Lloyd P. Sabanal, CoEd SG President; and Bryan M. Torres, MMath, Personnel-In-Charge/Planning Officer.The visit aimed to study and learn from the best practices in curriculum, teaching, and student support at these universities.This activity was made possible through the continued support and guidance of the College Dean, Dr. Edgar P. Aban, OSSD director, Miss Rhodaviv V. Avila and the College president, Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, PECE.

Unlocking Bright Futures View the Latest News and Updates of CNSC CNSC College of Education Hosts Workshop on Enhancing Community Engagement through Gender-Based Extension Services By: CNSC PICRO, 2025 The CNSC College of Education held a two-day workshop titled “CoEd Faculty Capacity Enrichment in Writing Extension Proposals Leading to Research-Based Extension Projects” on May 29-30, 2024, at the CNSC Quality Assurance Office.Participants include program chairpersons and faculty from the four programs of the College of Education namely Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd).With the theme, “Building Bridges: Enhancing Community Engagement through Gender-Based Extension Services.” the event featured esteemed speakers including Prof. Edgardo L. Besmonte from Bicol University who discussed the theoretical aspects of proposal development for research and extension, and Ms. Hazel M. Bermudo, Director of the Center for Community Involvement at UST-Legazpi, who shared best practices on sustainable extension projects and presented the Project REAP program.

Unlocking Bright Futures View the Latest News and Updates of CNSC Empowering Coastal Defenders: Training on Fiberglass Patrol Boat Construction By: CNSC ESD, 2024 Did you know that patrol boats are the unsung heroes of our coastlines? From their durability to their low maintenance costs, these vessels have been silently protecting us. With that, Engr. Joselito A. Olalo, Engr. Julius S. Laborte, and Mr. Nolito S. Roquid, representatives from CNSC had the opportunity to attend and participate in the training on the construction and maintenance of fiberglass reinforced plastic patrol boats (FRPB) on July 15-25, 2024 in Navotas City, led by Tanggol Kalikasan Inc., in cooperation with CNSC-Institute of Environmental Governance (IEG) Team. The training’s lectures, which included introductions to fiberglass reinforced patrol (FRP), a lamination of FRP boat, and demonstration of value-added fiberglass and resin products, were designed to improve the knowledge and abilities of the participants.
