ONGโ CAMPUS, SAN VICENTE set in FIVE YEARS By: CNSC PICRO, 2025 History unfolded last Friday, March 21, 2025, when Ms. Vilma G. Ong of the municipality of San Vicente donated a two-hectare parcel of land (20,000 square meters) to the Camarines Norte State College headed by Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, (SUC President III) for use solely as a School Engineering Campus Excerpt from the Deed states: That, FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the trust, and highest interest and commitment in education by the DONEE, and as an act of liberality on the part of the DONOR, the DONOR hereby voluntarily GIVE, TRANSFER and CONVEY by way of donation the above-described property and all the rights pertaining thereto, unto the DONEE and/or successor-in-interest, the above described property free from all liens and encumbrances and charges of whatever kind subject with the following conditions: That the property donated shall be used as solely as a School Engineering Campus of the DONEE; The DONEE shall undertake to give preference in the acceptance of students who are bona fide residents of the Municipality of San Vicente, provided that said students meet all the requisite qualifications, including examinations and interviews, required for the program; That the DONEE, in coordination with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and/or any government agencies, shall initiate, prioritize, and work out for the construction of school buildings and other improvements on the said donated parcel of land; That the DONEE shall perpetually name the campus as CAMARINES NORTE STATE COLLEGE (OR UNIVERSITY OF CAMARINES NORTE) โENGR. CNSC’s entry, featuring the creative briefs “Coke Songbook” and “Most Wanted,” stood out among numerous submissions worldwide. The team behind this campaign includes: Eunice Angela D. Ang (2nd Year) โ Leader/Director/Writer Mark Russel G. Obal (2nd Year) โ Assistant Director/Writer Roan Mea R. Ang programa ay inorganisa ng CNSC-Sentro ng Wika at Kultura (SWK), katuwang ang Kagawaran ng Interyor at Pamahalaang Lokal (DILG), at ginaganap sa CAS Development Communication Laboratory ng CNSC. Ang pagsasanay na ito ay nilalahukan ng mga kawani mula sa iba’t ibang bayan ng Camarines Norte upang mapalakas ang kanilang kasanayan pagsulat, paggawa ng opisyal na korespondensya, at pagsasaling-wika mula Ingles patungong Filipino at vice versa. This yearโs camp emphasized enhancing the knowledge and expertise of the current internal auditors, ensuring they are well-equipped with the latest auditing standards and best practices. By focusing on strengthening the existing team, the camp aimed to build a more cohesive and highly proficient audit group. The IQA Summer Camp aimed to orient participants on ISO 21001:2018 (Educational Organization Management System), strengthen awareness of Philippine Quality Award (PQA) requirements in preparation for PQA applications from satellite campuses, review and finalize the crafted IQA Policy Manual, Revisit the IQA Performance Evaluation Criteria, enhance knowledge and skills in report preparation, revisit actionable items from the 2024 internal and recertification audits, and foster morale, camaraderie, and team synergy among IQA auditors. On March 20, 2025, the second day of the camp, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dolores C. Volante, delivered the opening remarks. College President, Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, PECE, also addressed the participants, emphasizing the significance of the IQA Summer Camp in strengthening the role of auditors in maintaining institutional quality. The training consisted of five key sessions: Orientation on ISO 21001:2018 (Educational Organization Management System) Cascading of PQA Requirements Presentation and Finalization of the IQA Policy Manual Revisiting IQA Performance Evaluation Criteria Lecture-Workshop on Report Preparation and Revisiting Actionable Items from the 2024 Internal and Recertification Audits Following the conclusion of the sessions, a social night was conducted to foster camaraderie and enhance team cohesion among participants. This event provided an opportunity for informal interactions, promoting a sense of community and collaboration within the internal QMS auditors. Additionally, group presentations related to the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 21001:2018 were delivered, reinforcing key concepts and facilitating knowledge exchange in a dynamic and engaging manner. On March 21, 2025, the third day of the camp, team-building activities and audit planning were conducted. Five team-building activities, organized by the IQA Technical Working Group, provided an opportunity for participants to collaborate and strengthen their teamwork. As the summer camp concluded, certificates were awarded to participants, and MSIO Director, Beverly V. Musa, delivered the closing remarks, expressing gratitude for their dedication and commitment to quality assurance.

This three-day camp will involve the participation of the internal QMS auditors of CNSC. On the first day, March 19, 2025, Lead IQA Auditor Jeanny A. Nagrampa underscored the importance of the IQA Summer Camp in fostering continuous learning and improvement within CNSCโs Quality Management System (QMS). To enhance teamwork and self-awareness, PQA Focal Person Elise T. Manlangit administered an Enneagram test to the auditors, helping them understand their personality types and how they interact within their team. This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and communication among auditors, ultimately improving audit efficiency and effectiveness. With these focused initiatives, the IQA Summer Camp 2025 reaffirms CNSCโs dedication to continuous quality improvement, ensuring that the institution remains aligned with international standards and best practices in higher education.
