Unlocking Bright Futures View the Latest News and Updates of CNSC CNSC holds annual IQA Summer Camp 2025 By: CNSC PICRO, 2025 Camarines Norte State College, through the initiative of the Management System and Improvement Office (MSIO) and the Quality Management Representative Office (QMRO), conducted its annual Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Summer Camp 2025 in preparation for the upcoming internal and surveillance audit.The auditors and the technical working group arrived yesterday, March 19, 2021, at the Summit Sport Hub and Private Resort in San Vicente, Canaman, Camarines Sur, for the camp scheduled to take place from March 19 to 21, 2025. This three-day camp will involve the participation of the internal QMS auditors of CNSC. On the first day, March 19, 2025, Lead IQA Auditor Jeanny A. Nagrampa underscored the importance of the IQA Summer Camp in fostering continuous learning and improvement within CNSCโ€™s Quality Management System (QMS). To enhance teamwork and self-awareness, PQA Focal Person Elise T. Manlangit administered an Enneagram test to the auditors, helping them understand their personality types and how they interact within their team. This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and communication among auditors, ultimately improving audit efficiency and effectiveness. With these focused initiatives, the IQA Summer Camp 2025 reaffirms CNSCโ€™s dedication to continuous quality improvement, ensuring that the institution remains aligned with international standards and best practices in higher education.

Baldemoro, participated in the Bikol Foundation for Higher Education (BFHE) Academic Roadshow 2025 – 2nd lap (Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte Cluster) held on March 18, 2025 at Arrupe Convention Hall, Ateneo de Naga University, Naga City. This pivotal event aimed at driving meaningful discourse on the state and future of higher education in the Bicol Region. The roadshow brought together esteemed educators, academic leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders dedicated to uplifting the standards of tertiary education across Bicol. A major highlight of the roadshow was the keynote presentation by Dr. Karol Mark Yee, Executive Director of the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM II). Dr. Yee delivered an insightful discussion on โ€œAdvancing Higher Education in the Bicol Region: Challenges and Opportunities,โ€ drawing from EDCOM IIโ€™s research and recommendations. He underscored pressing issues such as disparities in access to quality education, limited resources for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), and the need for more resilient and globally competitive academic programs. He also outlined opportunities for collaboration between higher education institutions (HEIs) and the government to foster innovation, improve learning outcomes, and address gaps in faculty development, infrastructure, and research capacities. The forum further delved into โ€œHigher Education in the Bicol Region: Bridging Gaps and Fostering Excellence through Research and Extension,โ€ as discussed by Atty. Alex B. Now in its final year, the project is expanding to Camarines Norte, Masbate, and Catanduanes through a collaboration between DTI Region V, Bicol University FabLab, Bicol Designers Association (BIDA) and Camarines Norte State College. For Camarines Norte, 10 MSMEs from the food and non-food sectors on the Abaca and Pili Industries, participated in product enhancement and development with BIDA designers from BU FabLab at the CNSC-Fabrication Manufacturing Research Center (CNSC-FMRC). Engr. Joselito A. Olalo provided insights into the services offered by CNSC-FMRC during the Briefing and Orientation session tailored for the MSMEs. The event saw the participation of key figures, including Dr. Baby Boy Benjamin D. Nebres, SUC President IV of Bicol University, and Dr. Rosalie A. Held via Zoom, this landmark event underscores CNSCโ€™s dedication to fostering international partnerships that broaden global learning opportunities and elevate academic standards.
