The Center for Equity, Inclusivity, and Diversity (CEID) successfully conducted a seminar-workshop titled “Empowering Diversity: A Pride Month Celebration of Gender Equality and Inclusion” last Friday, June 13, 2025, at the CNSC Mercedes Campus.
The seminar saw the participation of faculty and staff to promote awareness and advocacy for gender equality, diversity, and inclusive practices.
As part of the seminar, participants engaged in hands-on sessions featuring table skirting, flower arrangement, and crochet — activities chosen to challenge traditional gender norms and foster appreciation for diverse skills and expressions.
The workshop concluded with a collective pledge of allyship of the participants.
