This is to inform everyone that all face-to-face classes are suspended on Friday, May 2, 2025, due to the extreme heat index forecasted in the province. According to the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (DOST-PAGASA), Camarines Norte is expected to experience a heat index of 43°C on the said date.
This level of heat index poses health risks, particularly to students and personnel who are exposed to prolonged heat. In this regard, all classes scheduled for May 2, 2025, shall be conducted through online modality to ensure the safety and well-being of our academic community.
Faculty members are urged to make the necessary adjustments in their instructional delivery and to ensure that students are properly guided in accessing their lessons and submitting their requirements online.
Furthermore, faculty members are allowed to work from home on the said date but are reminded to submit their CSR-FLM on time. Let us all take the necessary precautions during this period of extreme weather. Please monitor official announcements for any further
