SHARPENING ICT AND BUSINESS COMMUNICATION SKILLS: A CALL FOR CAPACITY-ENRICHMENT OF ALL GENDER OFFICE SUPPORT STAFF By: CNSC ESD, 2024 “𝑵𝒐 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒇𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒂𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒔 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒏-𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆” as the theme in the activity titled “𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬: 𝐀 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟” held on December 1, 2023, at CNSC Main Campus Library. The activity seeks to enhance the creativity of the CNSC Support Personnel in promotional designs and enriching their business communication skills.

TRANSLATING RESEARCH INTO INNOVATION FOSTERING ADOPTION OF DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES FOR COMMUNITY CHANGE AND EMPOWERMENT IN ALL GENDERS By: CNSC ESD, 2023 The Extension Services Division had another tremendous 3-day capacity enrichment activity titled 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, with the theme “𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙚” held on November 15-17, 2023 at Quality Assurance Office, CNSC Main Campus. The Extension Coordinators, together with the Faculty Researchers have been poured with abundance of insights from the esteemed resource speakers, 𝐃𝐢𝐫. 𝐅𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐌.𝐙. 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐨 and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐄. 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚 from University of the Philippines – Los Baños, and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐒. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐭 from National University of the Philippines.  This activity aims to deliver sustainable extension services leading to the creation of a changed and empowered community; intensify the research culture of the institution by linking extension to research and vice versa; and to develop opportunities for more collaboration and linkages both locally and internationally.

BASIC ORIENTATION ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY By: CNSC ESD, 2023 The Intellectual Property Management Office and Extension Services Division joined forces in the capacity enrichment activity titled, “Basic Orientation on Intellectual Property”, with the theme, “D.I.S.K.A.R.T.E. Roll-out for Institutional Partners and Stakeholders” on August 24, 2023, at CNSC Amphitheater, Main Campus, Daet, Camarines Norte.

WRITING EXTENSION RESEARCH AND EVALUATION: A CAPACITY-ENRICHMENT WORKSHOP FOR FIELD EXTENSION FUNCTIONARIES By: CNSC ESD, 2023   A capacity-enrichment extension activity for the faculty extension implementers titled “Writing Extension Research and Evaluation: A Capacity-Enrichment Workshop for Field Extension Functionaries” held on April 18-20, 2023 at Amphitheater, CNSC Main Campus, under the priority Thrust, K.K.K. (Kolehiyo at Komunidad, Katuwang sa Pag-Unlad).

FORUM ON TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION FOR FISHERIES RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND QUEEN PINEAPPLE BY PRODUCTS: A TECHNO-TRANSFER EXTENSION SERVICES LEADING TO PROFITABLE ENTREPRENEURIAL VENTURE By: CNSC ESD, 2022 A capacity-enrichment extension activity titled “Forum on Technological Innovation for Fisheries Resource Development and Queen Pineapple by Products: A Techno-transfer Extension Services Leading to Profitable Entrepreneurial Venture” held on November 3-4, 2022 at Amphitheater, CNSC Main Campus, under the priority Thrust, K.K.K. (Kolehiyo at Komunidad, Katuwang sa Pag-Unlad).

EXTENSION WORKERS AND COORDINATORS’ SHARPENING THE SAW PLANNING SESSION CUM RE-ECHO ACTIVITY ON STRATEGIC PLANNING, TECHNO-TRANSFER, AND RICE SMART FARMING TECHNOLOGY By: CNSC ESD, 2022 The capacity-enrichment extension activity entitled “Forum on Technological Innovation for Fisheries Resource Development and Queen Pineapple By-Products: A Techno-Transfer Extension Services Leading to Profitable Entrepreneurial Venture” was conducted on November 3–4, 2022, at the Former OP Board Room, CNSC Main Campus. This activity was carried out under the priority thrust K.K.K. (Kolehiyo at Komunidad, Katuwang sa Pag-Unlad).

CRAFTING OF THE DISKARTE 2.0 AND PRIORITY THRUST By: CNSC ESD, 2021 A capacity-enrichment extension activity titled “Crafting of the DISKARTE 2.0 and Priority Thrust” held November 12, 2021 via virtual meeting at Zoom, under the priority Thrust, K.K.K. (Kolehiyo at Komunidad, Katuwang sa Pag-Unlad).

3-YEAR UNIVERSITY LOGICAL FRAMEWORK FOR TRAINING AND EXTENSION SY 2021-2024 By: CNSC PICRO, 2021 A capacity-enrichment extension activity titled “3-Year University Logical Framework for Training and Extension SY 2021-2024” held February 17-19, 2021 at Former OP Board Room, CNSC Main Campus, under the priority Thrust, K.K.K. (Kolehiyo at Komunidad, Katuwang sa Pag-Unlad).

BUSINESS PLAN WRITING WORKSHOP FOR DOLE-ASSISTED PROJECTS By: CNSC ESD, 2021 A capacity-enrichment extension activity titled “Business Plan Writing Workshop for DOLE-assisted Projects” held on September 1-3, 2021 at Quality Assurance Office (QAO), CNSC Main Campus, under the priority Thrusts, L.I.N.G.A.P. (Livelihood Initiatives for the Needy in the Grassroots to Alleviate Poverty) and K.K.K. (Kolehiyo at Komunidad, Katuwang sa Pag-Unlad). For this activity, the Department of Labor and Employment – Camarines Norte Provincial Office (DOLE-CNPO) serves as our cooperating agency, with Ms. Renalyn E. Alano participating as one of the resource speakers. The participants actively engaged in the activity and shared their inquiries and insights during the event.
