Unlocking Bright Futures View the Latest News and Updates of CNSC NSTP – CWTS & LTS Rite and NSRC Membership & Oathtaking Ceremony 2025 By: CNSC – NSTP, 2025 The Camarines Norte State College – National Service Training Program successfully conducted the CWTS and LTS Graduation Rites and NSRC Membership & Oathtaking Ceremony, on the morning of May 24, 2025, at the CNSC Covered Court.This significant event celebrated the completion of the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training Service (LTS) components by the NSTP Class of 2025. With the theme, “Batch 2025 Graduates: Life Champions and Future-Ready Professionals of the 21st Century,” the ceremony highlighted the institution’s commitment to nurturing students who are not only academically prepared but also socially responsible and ready to contribute meaningfully to nation-building. NSTP students from both Main and Satellite Campuses gathered with pride and fulfillment as they reflected on their transformative journey through the NSTP program.The event was formally opened by Dr. Jocelyn O. Torio, NSTP Director, whose heartfelt welcome remarks set a tone of celebration and gratitude. She commended the graduates’ dedication and acknowledged the collective effort of coordinators, implementers, and the institution in shaping students into empowered, community-oriented individuals.The ceremony was graced by our esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, PECE, SUC President III, who delivered an inspiring commencement address that empowered and motivated the graduates to embrace their roles as catalysts for positive change in their communities.We extend our sincerest appreciation to all NSTP implementers who tirelessly guided and mentored the students throughout their service journey. Your support and commitment have been instrumental in molding these students into competent and compassionate citizens who are ready to create a meaningful impact in their communities.The NSTP Office also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the college president, Dr. Marlo M. CEREMONIAL LAUNCHING FOR STRATEGIC FORESIGHT AND FUTURES THINKING: GENDER RESPONSIVE SEMINAR WORKSHOP ON DEVELOPING RESEARCH AND EXTENSION INITIATIVES By: CNSC ESD, 2024 The Deans, Campus Directors, Research Coordinators, Extension Coordinators, and identified research and extension project implementers from active and approved projects participated in the extension activity titled “Ceremonial Launching for Strategic Foresight and Futures Thinking: Gender Responsive Seminar Workshop on Developing Research and Extension Initiatives” held on November 14, 2024 via Zoom. The following resource speakers from the Philippine Futures Thinking Society (PhilFutures) were invited: Mr. Emmanuel R. de Guia, Resident Futurist of the Senate Committee, Dr. Ruperto S. Sangalang, Senior Fellow and former CHED Commissioner, and Dr. Marife Mustacisa-Lacaba, Director, Center for Lifelong Learning (CeLL) from Samar State University.

The Extension Coordinators, together with the Faculty Researchers have been poured with abundance of insights from the esteemed resource speakers, 𝐃𝐢𝐫. 𝐅𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐌.𝐙. 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐨 and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐄. 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚 from University of the Philippines – Los Baños, and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐒. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐭 from National University of the Philippines.  This activity aims to deliver sustainable extension services leading to the creation of a changed and empowered community; intensify the research culture of the institution by linking extension to research and vice versa; and to develop opportunities for more collaboration and linkages both locally and internationally.
