Unlocking Bright Futures View the Latest News and Updates of CNSC AACCUP Visits CNSC, Orients Accreditation Task Force for Upcoming Institutional Accreditation By: CNSC PICRO, 2025 The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) conducted an orientation for the Accreditation Task Force of Camarines Norte State College in preparation for its upcoming institutional accreditation. The 2-day activity titled General Orientation and Workshop on Institutional Accreditation was held at the CNSC Quality Assurance Office – Conference Hall and was formally opened with a welcome statement from the Director of the Quality Assurance Office Rayniel D. Zabala. CNSC President Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz delivered an opening message, underscoring the college’s firm commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement. Dr. Milabel E. Ho, AACCUP Executive Director, also delivered a message, setting the tone for the orientation and highlighting the significance of institutional accreditation in higher education.The orientation proper featured comprehensive discussions on crucial topics such as Preparing for the Institutional Accreditation Survey, and IA Portfolio: A Guide to Preparing Documents for the Conduct of Institutional Accreditation, including the processes of uploading, digitization, and document presentation. A series of focused workshops followed, tackling the nine key areas of assessment:Area 1 – Governance and ManagementArea 2 – Teaching, Learning, and EvaluationArea 3 – Faculty and StaffArea 4 – ResearchArea 5 – Extension, Consultancy, and LinkagesArea 6 – Support to StudentsArea 7 – LibraryArea 8 – Infrastructure and Other Learning ResourcesArea 9 – Quality Assurance Culture The workshops were facilitated by Mr. Dominic T. Martinez, Ms. Merelyn G. Dela Cruz, Mr. Jimson L. Lamarroza and Dr. Milabel E. Ho, who provided detailed guidance and practical tips for the accreditation process. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to the speakers, followed by a brief closing message from Dr. Dolores C. Volante, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who encouraged everyone to remain engaged and committed as CNSC prepares for institutional evaluation.
