Trinidad, achieved remarkable success at the 2025 National Arts and Sciences Research Congress (NASRECON), which took place virtually via Zoom on February 6-7, 2025. The event, endorsed by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), revolved around the theme “Cultivating Academic Synergy Across Arts and Sciences,” following PASUC Advisory No. 183, s. 2024. Ms. Naomi Mari P. Calong, a 4th-year BA Sociology student, was awarded Best Oral Presenter for her research titled “Digital Consumerism and Identity Formation Among Young Adults in Camarines Norte.” Adviser: Glen Estacion. Mr. Christian M. Rempillo, also a 4th-year BA Sociology student, won the Best Paper award for his study on “Financial Literacy and Budget Prioritization of Former Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program Beneficiaries in Basud, Camarines Norte.” Adviser: Ronald Escasinas Ms. Catlyn Aloc, another 4th-year BA Sociology student, was recognized for her Outstanding Presentation on “De-colorizing: Experiences of Dark-Skinned Filipina Women.” Adviser: Ria Morales

RAMIREZ, MBA Head, Alumni Affairs Office, 2025 On February 3, 2025, Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) achieved a significant milestone in its internationalization journey through a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMP), Indonesia. Held via Zoom, this landmark event underscores CNSC’s dedication to fostering international partnerships that broaden global learning opportunities and elevate academic standards. This collaboration, spearheaded by CNSC’s Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) program under the College of Business and Public Administration, represents a pivotal step toward equipping students, faculty, and alumni with globally competitive competencies in an interconnected world.The online ceremony gathered distinguished leaders from both institutions. CNSC, CNNHS Ink MOA on Partnership and Collaboration Renewal By: CNSC Office of  the President, 2025   Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) and Camarines Norte National High School (CNNHS) signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Partnership and Collaboration Renewal towards the Strengthening of Research Culture on January 28, 2025 at CNNHS, Covered Court, Brgy. Camambugan, Daet. The MOA was signed by CNSC President Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz, PECE, and witnessed by VPRE Dr. Rosalie A. Almadrones and Research Director Dr. Adrian C. Guinto. Also present during the event was Dr. Daniel Maligat Jr., CCMS Dean. Meanwhile, signatories and witnesses from CNNHS were Mr. Francisco D. Torrero, Secondary School Principal II and Mr. Ray Duovanni N. Regondola, School Research Coordinator. The activity was attended in by CNNHS Junior and Senior High School students and teachers. This event demonstrates the strong commitment and relationship between the two (2) institutions which both aim for the promotion of research and innovation that are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
