The program chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, emphasizes appreciating and acknowledging the natural environment, understand how human activities impact both the environment and society, and recognizing the broader implications of these interactions. She believes that simple steps or actions can lead to significant macro actions or steps, making a meaningful difference in improving our environment and society. MERANO Instructor – COS Educational Attainment Master of Science in Environmental Science major in General Science Education 2022-2024 Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management 2014-2018 About Ms. Merano has a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Camarines Norte State College – College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Labo, Camarines Norte, and a master’s degree from the University of Nueva Caceres in Naga City. Her academic journey started in her alma mater at the College of Agriculture, Environmental Science Department in 2021, where she engaged with the institution’s three core functions: instruction, research, and extension. She has completed one extension project with some of her colleagues, has two ongoing research proposals, and one is about to finished. She has no publications yet but is looking forward to publishing after completing the ongoing research. She is always looking forward to creating instructional learning materials for the Environmental Science program.
